Since I've left Verizon and the retail world I have really enjoyed having my weekends and evenings off. I get to spend time with Sherry (my lovely wife of almost 9 years, wow!) and Noah ( my football player son). You know sometimes I feel like I haven't been there to really know them good. Working the retail hours and the stress of a busy life just took it's toll.
I was laying on the bed last night and Noah had just gotten out of the shower and put on his pajamas, when he came and laid on my back. I thought he was wanting to wrestle in bed like he's done before, but instead he said, "I just want to lay here like You, Daddy." I love those moments!
